Yes its a Roe deer and the does are in season for culling at the moment!!
As for caliber , its all i got at the mo and the beauty of handloading , as we all know - you can have a mild load for the smaller deer and then throttle up for the big buggers!!!

There is an old saying to beware of the man with only one gun;as he knows how to use it. Most of us have that one gun we turn to for pretty much everything, whether for hunting, targets and long range steel etc. It might not be the newest, the most expensive or even the most powerful, but when business needs to get taken care of, that one gun is there.
