Who has been in lately, and wot is the sit rep please...
Half of the North Island id say. Sit rep is lots of hunters, piss drinkers and cowboys with blistered thumbs from pushing the buttons on electronic callers all day resulting in spooky non committal stags.
Having said that the odd deer has been shot. A friend of mine got a nice 6 point stag last week but he was 3-4 hours in from road end.
There's a 10pt stag at start of te unga track. Call out to it and it will come over and say hi.
10 point Sika? Yes, I knew it was there as well. Bugger.
Rusky....there is no such critta as a 'royal' Sika an you wont get 10 points from me...thats not even a 1
