    Day or overnight hunts from Christchurch

    Hi, Does anybody know if there are any tour operators that offer day or overnight hunts from Christchurch...I'm flying in from Australia at christmas, staying in Christchurch and was hoping to experience a shoot of some sort. Thanks

    yes there was at least one safari guide doing it 30 years ago...sure there will be many more doing it now..bottom line is this,if you have got the $$$$$ anything is possible.

    There is one in Murchison not quite a day trip though from Christchurch. Have also heard one has started up near Hanmer Springs too
