    A Deer by Christmas - Otago

    Hi there,

    I'm looking for a spot that I might be able to get a deer from by Xmas.
    I am pretty green around the gills, but keen as mustard.

    Anyone have any spots in the Otago area (I live in Dunedin) that might be suited to a relative newbie like myself?
    I've been on a few goat hunts, and one decent deer hunt.

    I want to bring some venison back home to Taranaki for Xmas, if possible.

    Any ideas welcome

    Wainakarua be the closest, possible to get a wild sheep for Xmas instead of the deer too.
