Thread: Deer on the side of the road

Like anyone I drove down a country road in New Zealand and saw deer on the side of the road, perhaps it seems to be becoming more of a common sight these days......

Maybe it's a group of the farmers pet wild deer that were out for a leisurely evening stroll dining on his juicy grasses, they kindly posed for me while I took their photo's...



Perhaps this is a new way of deer farming in NZ, just using an existing 7/8 wire boundary fence....
I suppose it saves the costings of erecting deer fencing?



No ear deer tag attached....?
Facial features of a domestic farmland / private land wild deer?
Most "genuine hunters" like the look of "genuine wild deer" with a real wild look on their face, viewers draw there own conclusions.

When I finished taking their portrait photos that they had kindly posed for me, I just gave them a wave and then I drove off.
