    Deer sign?

    Hey guys finally got a wild goat today after being offered a block of farmland and bush to hunt. Seen lots of these prints around and only thing i can think of is deer or wild bull as there arnt any cows on the farm. Would be good to find out cheers. sorry about the low quality

    Hard to tell from a pic and not seeing the ground but looks like deer to me.

    I thought it looked too pointed to be a cow as well. It was a bit smaller than a cow hoof print to i thought its too big to be a deer

    Looks like a deer print to me but hard to judge with no scale.
    It looks like the front leg print just in front of the rear leg print almost exactly on top of it.

    Try and get a pic with another object in it for scale. A pen or lighter does the job

    Using the dead grass stems as a guide, I would say it is an animal of good size.

    I think you have got it right on Cam. That's how I read it too.

    Each of the hoof sides were about 2x a 308 shell long
