Thread: Duracoat durability

What's everyone's experience with the durability of Duracoat on a Carbon stock?
and can it be removed/redone easily?

Keen to get a new stock painted for looks and added grip, but don't want some thing that just ends up looking ratty after a bit of use.

Will get it done professionally and will be on hunting rifle (so dragged round the hills and through the bush)

I have had duracoat on a rifle( carbon stock and action/barrel) for 20 plus years. Lasted very well on the stock but is scratched up on the metal work. Doesn't worry me because it has taken so much abuse. I would use the product again.
