Went for a bush stalk today. Up at 345am , managed to see some fresh pig sign high up a steep ridge. Managed to track some pigs down and shot a sow in its bed

I was just asking, as she appeared to be suckling with what appears to be a pig nest in the photo.
Hunting over winter Is average for me I won't shoot hinds or for now velvet stags but that's just me.
It hasn't stopped 12 yearlings filling the freezer in the last 4 months, most shot on public land.
