As others have said a few trampers through there.
Big hut though and good fire place,running water etc.
Pauas off the rocks down at low tide if the surf /roll lets you.
Go down to the end of the beach to the hill face and glass the area of the old burn/clearings.
Some nice stalking through the bush and always the odd deer getting about the sand dunes.
