My first deer was a Sambar, missed quite a few Reds before I nailed a big hind. They got hard case looking toe nails. Was broke at the time and we ate all of the meat I bought home, Back legs and back steaks. Some of the ole mates weren't to keen on the Samba, but tasted good to me.
