    first deer

    gidday, im looking to take my girlfriend for a hunt for her first deer, or chamois but im new to hunting the canterbury area as i have just finished school in otago and moved. Was just asking on any advise on the mt somers area please ..? just dont want to put her off and take her anywhere too difficult ! cheers

    Try, Over Dukes knob, cross main creek and up the big old slip onto the NW faces of mount somers.
