    First Fly - in Roar.....cant wait

    Hi guys, fly into the Ahimanawas on saturday for a full week hunting Sika in the Upper Ohane Kopitonui block with Chris Cross

    its like count down to christmas day when you were a kid...im double checking all my gear and second guessing what i need...

    just need to hear the chopper leave and realise im finally about to fulfill a dream....STOKED AS.....

    Havent even pulled the trigger on a sneaky jap yet, three have outwitted me (not hard, i have to admit!!!).....

    wish me luck, hope to have a yarn to tell you all when i get back....hoping its a cracker!!!!!

    Best of luck, the mature Sika stags are following the girls around and roaring up to 10 am in the morning at the moment

    Haven't heard any in the evening until 7 pm.

    Awesum mate get in there and enjoy.
    Worst thing about flying is its very attictive. Great way to see and cover a lot of country hunting fresh

    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    As said before it is quite addictive.
    On the way home you will most likely be thinking of how to justify to your wife why you have to fly in again before they drop their antlers and again just for the sake of it.
