I reckon Bear's are such an underrated bow, I just absolutely love it. All you ever hear about is Matthews and Hoyt and occasionally PSE but I think Bear's are pretty much just as good. I do love Matthews mind you. But I've had two mates with PSE bows and they are great but I still would rather my bear. It's got a good IBO 328fps so I reckon mine would be around 290fps the way its set up with draw length and poundage. But what gets me and what turned both my PSE mates to Bear is for its speed how quiet it is. My mate had cat whiskers on his PSE and it was still noisier.
And with Shafts, unless I was going to hunt buff or bears or something (which I would love to do one day) I don't think you need to go expensive, I've had great penetration with the powerflights and they fly very well.
Just ordered in some rage 2 blade mechanical broadheads for deer hunting so getting keen to put a "rage in the cage" as the yanks put it. Also thinking of getting lumenoks to slow down how quick I go through arrows ha
