    Garmin rhino 750

Alright gents need some help with this. My rhino has the rechargeable battery but I thought it could also be made compatable to take aa/aaa batteries. If anyone knows how or what i need to do please let me know. Rather not deal with Garmin agents again as was a bloody nightmare last time.and shit service.
    Cheers team

Looks like you need a special AA battery pack (available separately, of course) to use Stand AAs. https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webh...29BF2B213.html

i’ve got a couple of 750’s and have battery packs from the garmin nz website. they are all good but you can only run 2W radio vs 5W with the lithium pack

Get a car charger unit too. I use that and have hardly ever needed to swap over to the AA battery pack.

Via the car charger yes it’s takes forever. I thought it was a problem to my car power socket!

yeah my one has a USB cord and i plug that into an adaptor in the car. Into the kawekas for 4 1/2-5 days and want to make sure i don't get lost. Am going to download topo 50 on my phone and will take a map and compass to be sure as well. Rather not set off the PLB
