    Goats at 1600m?

Went for a walk up to the Ellis hut in the Kahurangi over the weekend and was surprised to see a mob of feral goats well above the bush line up in the snow.
Anyone else seen these "alpine ferals" before?

    Sorry to disappoint @MikeB.
Didn't think about that when I started the thread.

Haha. The photo was taken at about 900m with a point and shoot camera.
There are a couple of black ones and a grey one in the photo (I think). Easiest one to see is at 3 o'clock from the dead centre of the photo about half way to the edge.

You were not alone in that Pengy.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Nah. Not me @Rushy. I am a mere mortal. I will leave that mischief to people with much greater skill than I have.
I will have to choose my words more carefully next time.
