What about the 13 Mile Bush block in Korowai Torlesse Tussocklands?
13 Mile Bush hunting block: North Canterbury and Arthur's Pass area
HAven't seen any goats in the couple of times I've been to 13 mile bush. The best bet is Kaikoura or getting to know a farmer on Banks peninsula.
Back of kaikoura man. 13 mile has plenty of pressure these days. Up Clarence river is the go.

Very few on the banks now. Any farmers with them will hold on to them as a way of keeping broom and gorse down.
Loads around Murchison.
