So got a ate coming up from the deep south and he is KEEN on finding some goats, to the point where is was thinking of crossing the ditch and finding some up north.
I figure there has be a few spots around the top of the south to save the ferry ticket. Anyone got any suggestions? Looking like the first two weeks of June. We are both running 308s so happy shooting out to 300m
Kaikoura, Clarence, Marlborough sounds, Branch and Leatham, Goulter river, Motueka gorge to name a few.
Yeap, have only spent a week in Marlborough, but saw goats everywhere, all through the Wairau Valley, Goulter River etc
Tried kaikoura, only found half a dozen, Leatham is an area I want to go back to and explore I'm happy doing reasonably big day walks but think my mates going to be lazy (eaten to much nice home baking) will have a look at the other spots on a map.Quote:
