    Goats vs Deer or not?

There is a property that I can hunt on that is pretty much infested with goats. I have seen mobs of around 40, there must be over 200 goats in total. I understand that Deer don't mind cows, hate sheep but what about goats?

    That was Kiakoura.

I have noticed on property i have access to the deer stay away from sheep but don't mind the beef.

I mentioned it a while back and someone said it could be that they can pick up parasites from the sheep or shit.
However if its a sheep farm and there is tucker they won't resist it.

My experience we've found red deer can cohabitate well with goats. Found and shot a huge stag after being told others couldn't get it. Entered the bush, quickly realised a goat started up with sounds each time we moved, couldn't get anywhere near the stag. We found and shot the goat and the next day without his warning companion we shot the stag.
Have found this on a few other occasions, never dismiss a goat bleating till you see it is either alone or with many others, there may be deer around.

This afternoon I went to goat city and found a couple of fallow visiting. That kinda answered my own question although to be fair there were less goats around this time.

I'm intrigued by the great photo. What did you use to take it. I assume a trailcam. The animals seem too far away to use motion sensor. Time lapse?

If your refering to my photos? They were taken with a hundred dollar waterproof camera with no optical zoom held lined up with one tube of my binos.
