    Ears were worth 3 rounds .303 for a pair. A pig snout was the same.
    You are right 'Turehu' A private hunter received the ammo bonus above as the cullers.

    To a culler depending on the era of course but say late 50s early 6os a set of deer ears and tail or a pig snout could well have been worth 2 shillings to 18 shillings each.

    Plus it looks like they are taking deer skins at whatever the price was per pound.

    That was as well as the ammo bonus above.
