    Haurangi Road Warning

    FYI for anyone heading out that way.

    Is a sizable slip under the road on the way in a long distance from the carpark. Is a little further on from the logging site.

    I'd be picking the road to close indefinitely in the near future as most of the underside of the road is undermined. Going to be a very expensive repair job!

    Isn't there a farm and a couple of bachs up there past the logging area.

    Yep is further back from them. Certainly if i lived there i'd be keeping a vehicle on the other side of the slip.

    Would imagine it was all sorted now. Not been there for ages, however when i last checked in with the council roading team they said it'd be 2-3 weeks and that was a few months ago.
