How old are you? Got your own transport?
Hey Nathan, Im 20 and yes have my own transport.
Welcome to the forum MB,
Send me a pm, its easy enough to show you some nice possies in the kawekas and find where those Wiley sika are living.
Andrew
Hey Andrew sounds awsome just sent you a pm :)
Cool , Go out with Andrew he can show you some spots. Being young fit and keen the worlds your oyster. Find a hunting buddy and go for it. Me and another dude did a lot of walking up there years ago. We used to see a few deer and shoot the odd one. In summer you can leave on Friday night and back Sunday night for work and access some great hunting spots . Leave from Makahu Saddle you have Studholme saddle area , Back Ridge , Ballards , Venison tops , Spion Kop . Go from the lakes there is great hunting around Kiwi Saddle down to Kiwi mouth . If your really keen Manson is 8-9 hours walk from the road end.
Keep us informed and I can give you some great hunting spots if your prepared to break a sweat.
