Thread: Homemade hunting daypack

Just asking if anyone has had a go at homemade day packs or any sort of pack. There's obviously plenty of companies to buy from out there, but no pack really meets what I want. Just interested to see what people have made or if anyones made anything at all

Have you tried Southern Lite packs? They look like they'll do a custom job for you, and at a decent price.

Yep, Dad use to put little stones in the corners to stop the binder twine slipping off. The simple things of life.

Called a pikau.

Cheap and easy to make back when flour and all sorts of other good stuff was delivered in a sack.

started off wanting a basic picau then added a lid, straps and a sacrificial inner.made with fleece - had brown which ended up looking very deer ish so went blue.
