Gas for a MTB? Sounds like you were cheating with a moped mate

lol, driving all over the country to races and shuttling to the top of the hill constantly-the flights overseas were the real budget killer.

Yeah, i'm a bit of a gear nut, i like nice toys!
My problem is that i have about 6 different hobbies and all of them have nice shiny toys that go with them so my toy fund and my time get spread pretty thin!

There's my problem too! About to go halves in a whitebait net and buy a new flounder net too...
No wonder the dogs, boat, surfcaster and rifles look at me sideways. Not as sideways as the mrs does though.
Oh well, looking forward to Mondays dive.

Cost a bit to set up, scope worth more than rifle, took me a few years to work that out.,good boots, range finder, bino,s and good clothing all slowly purchased over a few years.
Replaced day bag otherday with cheap on special from hunting n fishing, leaks, zips buggered after 3 days.
Replaced gaiters with stoney creek pair and they ripped first trip.
Dog was a good buy proving his worth and gives me someone to talk to in the bush and down in the shed.
Stopped buying stuff on impulse now as have worked out what works and whats really needed.

Would like a helicopter next and my own hunting block but wife just rolls her eyes and tells me to carry on vacuming the lounge.

Ive just done a big spend on all new gear including rifle, but just gear including shelter, bags, RF leica 1600B, cooking, clothes, GPS (64s), ACR PLB, game bag, dry bags, therma rest, sleeping bag, etc was so far just over 4 k theres heaps more shit too just can't remember it all, still coming in the mail. and the rifle and scope was 4 k as well, so all up including bits and bobs and the heli ride in to the winter block for my solo hunt id say 9k . peanuts in the grand scheme of things, but i feel like a new man heheh

Is this you @oneshot? If so it looks like you might spend a bit more than a 303 and a swannie.

Oh shooting sticks really handy and a good knife.
