    Hunting Access, The Future.

I really don't know where to post this as it almost strays into Political (and I'm not presenting it as such) but it is very relevant to Hunters/Hunting and Access to NZ's Public Lands when you take into account the proposals for DOC/DOC Estate under the present Minister/Govt. It is an article in Breaking Views and I strongly suggest everyone reads it and form your own opinions. All I can say is Rust Never Sleeps.

Apropos of nothing in particular, have a read of this interview with the head of Tuwharetoa who argues for a return of the Tongariro National Park, and ownership of the Lake Taupo water column. https://www.stuff.co.nz/te-ao-maori/...-national-park

The full version is on YouTube as well.

I also hope this isn't seen as political - I've got no idea who Sir Tumu votes for, but coming on top of the Waipakihi Rd performance it is a good thing to try and keep anything that will negatively alter access to the forefront.

I would like to say a lot, have been in the past and just keep hitting a wall. Will say this, politics dictates our whole lifes, once the registry comes into effect the radicals will be able to storm your home to confiscate all firearms.
    Capishe?
