Apparently snapper are out in the deep holes with D'Urville /Stephens passage good spots to target them, the weather stopped me unfortunately that and the transducer cable becoming unplugged so I lost my sounder 50+ km out from the bach.

Out from Wilsons Bay where you were can be good for snapper, gurnard and Kingis over summer with lots of work ups from early morning right into late afternoon - dropping lures down to bottom circa 50-60m was productive last Xmas holidays. Foots has always had plenty of goats and pigs coming over from the QE2 covenant land he has a couple of traps up there for them.
