Looking for a reliable honest hunting mate that doesn't mind walking and doesn't expect animals every time they go hunting.I try and take my dogs out every week.Iam keen on hunting anything I can eat.So if there is any one out there that wants to hunt iam always keen for a walk with my dogs:)

Hamilton area, new to hunting in the north island, keen on deer, pretty green when it comes to the south island too, yet to get anything on the ground.

I think we have discussed the topic before elsewhere.
I can take a greeny in the bush and show him how I hunt and get him started; but he would have to do the hard yard by himself like we all did.
If the intention is to be " presented" a deer at shootable distance, on the said day, there are plenty of guided hunts around that will do a much better job than having me taking you around in the not so easy places where I hunt.
Oh, and a gps ( map and compass as well)and a good pair of binoculars are the two essential tools to learn the trade.
