Buy the Spot-X hunting book, look at the DOC website and use google earth to check out some of the likely looking areas. Then a bit of leg work and a few hours on the ground will let you know if your on the right track.
Look in the bush for sign and where possible get up high and let your binoculars do the walking at dawn and dusk.
People are unlikely to give you directions to their hard earned spots with good animal numbers that have often taken hundreds of hours to find.
If you do as I've suggested, it won't take you long to find some animals and your own hunting spots.
Good luck!
