Hunting Spots Near (East of) Masterton

    Hey all,

A couple of my pals and I are going to be staying at a friend's place on the east coast near Masterton, Riversdale specifically, and we'd like to get out to do some shooting. We're going to take the morning/early afternoon on day one to check out a bit of the Rimutakas but don't have anything sorted for the evening or following day. A workmate of mine said he used to trade a box of beer for access to private land down the coast nearer Martinborough but I've lost touch with him and I was wondering if anyone had friends/workmates out there with goats or bunnies they'd let us take care of in exchange for some brew?

I figure it's a long shot but why not eh? Thanks!

I wouldnt head into mitre unless the tops are clear and not windy, quite a few hunters in the area. Got to cow creek yesterday morning and went home as the hut was already full
