Hunting stats/diaries?
Anyone keep a diary or stats from your trips?
Last year I decided to start doing a hunting diary and after doing a fishing one for a number of years and finding it interesting reading back years later.
Just completed another entry following my latest trip and on public deer I worked out over 17 trips I've shot 14 deer and seen 41.
When I'm hunting the tops I don't use my GPS but when in the bush I do. With that I've worked out the average day in the bush for me involves 10.5kms of walking and I'm stopped just under half the time.
Anyone else worked out their numbers out of curiosity?

My 2013, I reckon about 40 weekends in the bush, one red stag, my first fallow buck with a bow, about 3 meat animals, 3 tahr and 3 animals I guided people on. Don't know how many I seen maybe 60 tahr and 300-400 deer.
Don't track the km's but just whatever it takes to get the job done.

Hunting stats/diaries?
I kept one for a while but it is compiled mainly of the conditions I was successful in.
What time of day, where, altitude, temp, pressure and moon state.
I still have every venison run I did in a machine from 2004-2011 recorded in a diary.
