I'm new to hunting in NZ

I'm new to hunting in NZ and am wondering if there are any good site around the Wellington, lower north island region. Also if there is anyone who is interested in having a novice join them, please let me know

Welcome TonyP. There are plenty of good buggers on this forum that are in close proximity to you. Someone is bound to tuck you under their wing.

Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
