Dunno? Unless I owned a bar or the like I would never buy something like that. I would keep something a family member left behind, but not a trophy head off someone I didnt know.
I would have thought it would be worth way more than whats been bid at the moment.
Very nice rack shot in country you would struggle to see deer in now.

Deer heads are quite in fashion as far as interior decorating goes at the moment. Look in any new house renovation or decoration mag and I guarantee you will find a set of deer antlers hanging on the wall in it. The missus was looking at some fandangled stupidly expensive trying to sell junk website the other day and found them selling shitty 8-10 point heads that were painted bright colours for big money. I think the one she showed me was about $600 for a silver painted 8 pointer. Thought I should whip a can of paint out, tart up a few of my 11's and 12's and try sell them to some townie sucker for a grand.
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.
