What a beast! What was the live/carcass weight? Also how do they taste compared to commercial pork?
Well done Linyera. They are mean looking animals.
Nice..
70yrds is quite a distance to run.. where was the shot placed
A wild boar came my country for two origins, Europe and Asia. Surely This photo comes from the cross between two. This female boar must have weighed about 80 Kg.And shot it in the lungs was placed over the heart .I hope you understand my broken English!! !!!!!!
Shes a beast, nice one mate!
176 pounds in our language, for some reason Linyera most of us still talk pigs in pounds, 200 being that elusive benchmark
that is a solid sow, it looks like it is built for speed, do they run hard when dogged, are they an easy catch or can they still outrun the dogs
Thanks moonhunt, are very fast these pigs, and walk long distances to get their food. Often dogs can not reach these pigs because of the speed and agility that these pigs have to run in the woods. Mates , today I am going to ten days in hunting red deer.!! see you later!!
This is a common shape of our local sows
Our pigs are the same, it seems they have evolved one step ahead of the dogs
