About LinkBacksKnife, plb and a bit of ammo and sundry trinkets on my belt. That way I don't have to wear my day pack on my back all of the time, or go back for it etc. And if I have to deal to a deer quickly its a bugger having to get a knife out of your pack. Lastly, I always turn my kills down hill and stick them to bleed them right out so its handy just being able to grab my knife off my belt. A lot less pissing around.
