Knowledge Sponge - Hunting parties wanted...

Just a quick one from me.

I have about 2 years worth of hunting deer under the belt (so bugger all really), with one Roar.
I am a bit of a knowledge sponge and want to get out with people that have done it for years and that have it in their blood/family. I'm not an idiot or a city slicker looking for a quick shoot out, I am willing to walk the yards and do the mahi. I just feel that there is plenty more to learn about deer stalking and would also like to get out of the central platau and develop a good hunting click/database. I come with my own truck and rifle, and occasionally the wife will be keen for a stalk as well.

Additionally we are both looking at getting into gong/range shooting and are members of the newly developed waiouru gun club.

Get up early, find a spot and sit and glass in the first hour of light. Check your spots for sign and if there is sign there are deer.

There is a gong shoot at Tarata just out of Inglewood on the 29th Nov, I think the date is.

BGHNZ do hunt courses, worth a look, they also do meat hunts as well.
