    Lawrence Campsite Kaweka Forest Park

    Hi all
    Does anyone know if the access road to the Lawrence campsite is open or closed? Looking to do a mission in there soon with my two boys 13 and 11.
    ny update would be greatly appreciated.

    Good to know, is the road open for their foreseeable future of just the holiday break? Used to be able to get two wheel drive down to the shelter, is the road in reasonable condition? Have a great Xmas and hot barrels.

    Yes it should be open for the foreseeable future. It should be fine in 2wd, the road is reasonably well maintained
