    @Hiawatha, while I understand your reasoning, the reality on the ground is slightly different.

    There has not been zero movement "over the hill". The vast majority of people who go through that checkpoint are essential workers. The occasional joy-rider or idiot is being stopped, but the numbers of people moving between my and your side of the hill would surprise you. Quite a few people live in the Rapa and still commute over the hill to go work in government offices or elsewhere in the Hutt during the day.

    Yep I hear ya. Don't think we have zero movement anywhere. I should have phrased that better. Hope you are able to get back to your favourite spots soon when the coast is deemed clear, whatever that looks like Hopefully soon ay.

    I asked our local Civil Defense Controller what was the definition of region being used by CDEM and Police.

    His response was that "the region is the CDEM region."
