Looking at heading up here next weekend for a day walk. Looks like we will be getting some snow early in the week so hoping this could push a few animals a bit lower. Has anyone been in here recently. Obviously pretty big country and wont be able to cover much country in a day, so will probably stick to the river flats unless im feeling really energetic.
There were people everywhere down there last week. Better to wait till after whitebait season mate. No fucking spotlights apart from locals

Yeah thought that maybe the case, we were over the coast in the weekend which got me thinking about heading up there. Farley easy access up there as well which probably doesnt help the traffic.
Have a look in the lower Clarke if you are going anyway.
