Was in there in march. Pretty quiet on the roaring side of things but a ton of sign about. Although all the deer were sitting in the tight stuff until 2am and gone before daylight.
If I was going in there in the roar I'd get some tucker and kit dropped off at the hut and get the machine to drop you off at the far south end of the block and spend a few days working your way back. From all account the better bush hunting is at the south end of the block. Doesn't see a lot of hunters at the far end.
