    Any one know whoes managing this area now and has any one hunted there recently?
    hUnted it about ten years ago and was thinking of looking there again

    Its one of the streams that enters the Ripia not far from the upper Ripia campsite.

    Mangakiokio is up a side creek of the Repia .hut is a bivvy last time there .From memory when it rained the water ran through it .This area hold large stags and plenty of them .My group took out three stags within 300 metres from hut .Use gas and don't light fires ,once the smoke hits the valley the deer are gone. Top area to hunt and would recommend you try this place out .

    Ive hunted there a couple times ten years ago and it was a nice place just wasnt sure who managed it now
