No 7.62 is going to help if you flinch and miss outrite because you havent used the gun enouff.
But your better to take the rifle that you can use affectively then the one you no nothing about.

cheers 6MMBR, im quite happy firing both cals, actually shot the 7.62 the most, its 7.62 x 39 so the recoil is quite mild and im not flinching....I think !
