New here, from Canada but working in WA

    Hi folks,
Thought I would join up and share a bit.
I’ve been in Perth for 9 months on a work assignment offshore from Canada.
I should be in WA for anothe 18 mo.
More looking for hunting options on my time off as I really miss hunting back home.
I do get back to Canada / Alberta 2-3 times per year.
Here is a pic of my Alberta Whitetail from Nov 2017.

    Welcome and enjoy.

    Hi there TBark.
Tells us more about your Canada hunting experiences. I have family in Canada but I've no idea where exactly.

I hunt up to 40 days per year back home.
But with work in WA I only get home a few times per year and just once for hunting, Oct this year.
It a bit different only hunting 8-10 days, but I should be relocated home in another 2 years or so.
Back home in Alberta we hunt our own land mostly, we have two 160 acre quarters, some farmland some bush.
No issues with strangers and it could be because hunting is better elsewhere, but it is our own so we stick to it.
Elk and moose come through at times but hunting success on these big brutes is only one every 3-4 years.
Deer is better and we take 3-4 per year amongst 5-6 friends or family members.
4 days after my deer deer from Nov, my son got his Whitetail buck.
