    Noisy Sika in the Kawekas

Was in the kawekas yesterday afternoon and the Sika were location calling (heehaws) until just after dark.

Light drizzle up there today too so could be a good start to the Sika roar.

Saw plenty and did manage to knock a couple over

The wind was a problem, could make up it's mind which way to blow.

Am on the lookout for an 8 pointer for my hunting mate and haven't found one in that area yet, plenty of young fours and sixes there though
