Awesome show. I'm heading to lower glasinock in 4 weeks. After seeing that its going to be very hard to stay focused on work!!!
Another great show and awesome footage. Lots of animals and bulls encountered with excellent patience and assessment behind the trigger. Good on you guys for leaving those big boys for another year or two. That camera lost & found was one "very lucky camera" - bit of a buga having to drop all the height to go back and find it. Gut busta.
Yep agree.
The one I shot last year had probably been left by multiple hunters over the years as wasn't 50" and wasn't (or at least when I shot him) a 12 pointer. He was clearly old and I decided to bang him over, he was over 9 years old, had wapiti style antlers and was massive in comparison to anything else I have seen/shot in new zealand. He certainly looks impressive when a red stag head/skull is placed beside it.
Already been on here mate Attachment 82879

And some photos of the stags taken from our block in our period. Ages from left to right.
5 1/4 (A mainly red stag shot by member of my party), 9 1/4 (my stag above), 7 1/4 (A mainly red stag that was 40x40 approx and a perfect 12 shot by member of party we shared with ), 4 1/4 a beaut wap head that was 45" 11 points with plenty potential shot by member of party we shared with

It was an interesting trip out in the chopper. Antler sticking everywhere
Don’t know it could be just me but closing the whole place for 5 ish years could make a big difference
