Options for self-guided private land Fallow or Red hunts

I'm wanting to take a couple of old boys out on another hunting trip, I'm thinking fallow in wanganui or similar.

Don't want a guided hunt. Happy to tent but if we go over winter it might be nice to be able to stay in a hut/woolshed etc.

Want something reasonable priced, nothing that's too commercial.

I've read an old thread on here but thought I'd start a new one as situations have likely changed.

Dad's getting older and I wanna see him get another deer.

Can anyone put me onto something?

Both Mohawk660 and I have unhappy stories , only thing I will add publicly is dont be surprised if it fails to meet your expectations , and dont expect a happy ending.
