Good outcome. Hope you have a speedy recovery. And good on you for having a PLB.
Its no secret that I'm an old bugger (67). I was contemplating getting a PLB a couple of years ago and did nothing about it. I'm always in the bush by myself and it was silly not to. So of course the next thing is before I got one I arsed up with a heavy pack on late one evening and broke my wrist in 3 places, and had to spend an uncomfortable night in the bush by myself before struggling out the next day. It could have been a lot worse.
A PLB is never off my waist belt now.

If you have surgery don't ever play a contact sport again.
I have the same problem but mine is starting to come ok, hasn't dislocated for over a year. Have considered surgery but everyone I know that has had it has re-injured and you are back to square one199p likes this.
