    just winding up 2 weeks off work , have put up another 50m of fencing ,opened up another room and fitted a window in it would have like to have got more done but lost a day mowing lawns for the first time in over a month.....anyway got a pass and heading in on friday . taking @thatguy and meeting @sometimes1 down there expecting 4 seasons but thats ok hopefully will keep a few hundred people away.

    You staying at the flats?might be heading to north block weather depending.

    I've never been to Piropiro, but I have been curious about the place. With the lodge near does it make for a bit of a hot spot with mountain bikers and trail riders? Can you get a quad onto some of the tracks to get far away from the main camp?

    Campsite is usually busy so pays to hunt away from the flats quad bike can be handy for getting around to better spots to access on foot

    Iam heading down tomorrow set my camp up meeting @scotty and @thatguy on Friday think I might cook the lads a pork roast for tea Friday really just enjoy being in the bush with my dogs

    yep after the crap has cleared be scopin out the north facing slips and clearings......should be SW-ish breeze......

    Been a magic day today in the area today, sunny, 19-20`c, none of the forecast range showed up.
