Here we go again this will be more fun than Shortland Street :pacman:
Wouldn't you be better going in early Saturday morning. I don't know what time you knock off Friday, but getting from your work to home and then to Clements, surely it would be dark by then (unless of course you are lighting) and then having to set up camp, cook feed, drink beers (probably Waikato), talk bullshit to yourself (or a mate, if someone takes up your offer). Better off to have a leg over the missus early Saturday and head on down, all you would need is your day bag and rifle then.
@Spook succinct as usual.
I knock off at 5pm dinner will be ready when I get home scoff it down chuck gear in car (I pack during the week leading up to buggering off) bugger off between 6 and 7pm, get to clements clearing about 9pm set up tent bugger off to bed get up scoff down some brekky and slurp down a cup of tea and then head into bush after a quick stop at the thunder box, Sorted :D
Oh no it's raining someone will be staying home again :o Odds at the TAB were 1.02 for this to happen again
Are we there yet?:D
It's still cold up there mate
Did you check my spot Hunter ? Was there much sign around ?
What I like about Clements is it is 18km long with a few places to pitch a tent. You can get there at 2.00am after driving down after work, pitch the tent, jump in the sack then when it is deadly quiet a Sika will start squealing from the other side of the road
Where did u end up mate ??
