The power of the 2506 AI

Just look at how this Spiker shot last night was lifted off his feet and thrown into the trees. 2506 AI hit him like an uppercut from Mike Tyson.
You don't get that with a 260 or creedmore !Name: 20200107_204242.jpg

I must have tried to climb the tree to get away from the bee that he thought stung him.

It was such an ingracious undignified end to the poor chap I thought a story was more fitting than the truth.
The truth being that the 100 mtr shot ( excuses here ) being down hill off the knees into a window in the bush - the deer having been positively identified and sexed off course - hit slightly low, split the heart and what should have been an easy recovery took about an hour to carry the deer (whole gutted) back up the hill after he torched off down into the bush and piled into the boughs and branches to his demise as seen in the unaltered pictures of his last resting place.

Did it take you a little bit to find him? He looks a bit blown up. Could be brusing from the mighty impact of the 25 cal and smashed the diaphragm as well tho eh

Any 25 cal. fans on here tried the 131 grain Blackjack high Bc bullets? ( .627 g1 bc I think) but needs a faster twist barrel.

Only 20 minutes to find, bloody dog went to it then lost interest while I looked in the wrong place and couldn't find a way down to the dog anyway so I had to find it myself. Seems to happen if she hasn't seen it before the shot. No smashed diaphragm, shot went low behind the near front leg split the heart and broke the off-side leg. I agree he looks blown up but was just a good well grown model with a bit of fat in the abdominal cavity and a full tummy.

With that sort of bc should be a mean little cannon. Better barrel life than the. 243.

Do you know any more about this...? What sort of twist is required?

    Edit: 1:8 apparently

I don't think those bullets will help with your problem @Strummer ( gun problem, not the lack of Kingfish problem) because as a match bullet they are likely no good for hunting and with the required twist will be hard to get going fast. Bed the action, recoil lug and first 30mm under the chamber, that will fix the gun. The best 25's run 1 in 12 twist, long throats and a specially narrow shaped rifling that doesn't distort the bullet much or generate high pressure. Shot with 100 grainers at 35 - 3600fps +
