Dangerous... Only if you are going to past or someone going the other way is. Impressive drops off the sides if you have someone in he car that doesn't like heights

I can attest to the fact there are bugger all goats left up Skippers. Partly because I've shot more than my fair share over the years but mostly because I was up there a few days ago and saw bugger all. It's had a hammering over the last two or three years.

There are deer even around the car parking at Dart River. I've smelled them.

They smelled me too which didn't help.....

Plenty of bunny sign on the river flats too just for giggles

You'll no doubt question my sanity, but there are actually wild deer at the BP roundabout in Frankton so you can save yourself a trip to the outer reaches of the planet and hunt from the comfort of the tables at BurgerKing while refilling your bottomless cup of coke from the vending machine. I kid you not. Well... I kid you not about the deer... but maybe about hunting while sitting at BurgerKing. I have (somewhat blurry) photos and video taken from the roadside adjacent to the cemetery of 4 fallow bucks which were hell-bent on jumping the main road and feasting themselves on the freshly manicured lawns of the Events Centre and Golf Course.

Had my son and I not intervened with the camera, the deer might have caused a multi-car pile-up at the intersection. That might have been fun to watch... all the tourists in a slow-motion multi-car pile up... at 20 km/hr.

Neighbours might not appreciate you wading in with your .243 though Phil... even if it's suppressed.
