Series will be on prime later in the year - so we all get a crack
Nah NZ Hunter is on free view :D so its better
I enjoy these sorts of programs the most when they are on public land and authentic. That's whats important to me.
Yeah and the NZ Hunter boys don't over talk things/ dribble on about whats going on at the time either...
there is *that* man-giggle though
That's a strange comment. Would you prefer it if we only ever talked about what had just happened, rather than discussing what's going on in the exact moment? Commentating on the action as it unfolds is one of the hardest things to pull off, and something I'm proud we're able to do well within the show.
Anyway, I really enjoy NZ Hunter Adventures, we're making two quite different shows though - each has it's strengths and weaknesses. So long as the production standards are high in both, and we're portraying hunters in a positive light, then at the end of the day we're both trying to achieve the same thing - encouraging Kiwi's to get into the outdoors and experience the thrills and challenges of hunting for themselves.
As long as they don't end up like Matt Watson ITM fishing show full of dribble

Who care's which one is better. We are lucky to have two top notch hunting shows on air.
Have watched 'Hunting Aotearoa' and 'NZ Hunter Adventures'.
Liked both shows as each addressed different hunting styles - both seemed pretty honest about missed opportunities during the hunt.
Both shows were pretty well made - will look forward to this one on Prime - when/if it ever makes out of the Sky reruns department.
Oh - I don't have Sky - too bloody expensive, too much stuff I don't watch but still have to pay for plus some days when there's nothing really happening, so endless reruns of old (some are ancient), shows.
Watched at BIL's in Jaffaland once - cured me of wanting Sky.
If Greg and Willie stop talking about cups of tea and if Tim Barnett cut his mullet off both shows would be improved lol.
Seriously though you are both doing awesome
I like both shows, but the Duelys are as hard as nails, aren't they.
:-)
i didnt even mention 1080, lobbing long range shots hitting dear out of sheer luck, or the firearms act.... hearts on the sleeves boys thats real passion!
The problem Scott is that most debates seem to turn into shit fights and people get caught up with attacking each other rather than thinking of the bigger picture and the greater good of our sport.
And your example is completely differen't because Ford's actually are shit
Both shows are fantastic, whether it's public land or private doesn't matter to me.
They are out there doing it and giving us some great footage to watch when we aren't out there our self.
It's real and they show that not every hunt works out with meat or a trophy.
To be able to combine the camera work with hunting is bloody hard but they manage it.
Keep up the good work.
When does this air on minimum wage tv ?
When is it on sky? All I get from the facepalm pages are a shit load of stuff I dont want to see...
